Marquis Industries is a leading manufacturer and reseller of carpet and hard surface floorcoverings as well as a manufacturer of innovative yarns. The Company is a Top 10 manufacturer of residential carpet in the US, which it sells to a diverse network of over 2,000 flooring dealers throughout North America under the Best Buy brand name. Marquis also resells hard surface flooring products and manufactures and sells high performance yarns. Marquis utilizes over 400,000 square feet under roof and has recently invested in efficient new equipment to expand new higher margin markets and reduce costs. Marquis’ CEO and majority owner is pursuing a transaction for estate planning purposes. Three senior managers also own minority interests.
